Provocative presentation well received in London, UK and Boston, MA

At the X-Pubs conference, held in June of this year in London, UK, Emma presented to a packed room on the behavioral changes required to benefit fully from the implementation of a Content Management System. The presentation, titled “New Behaviors for Success: Forging Content Collaborators out of Writers” was reprised at the DocTrain ‘06 Conference, in Boston, MA, held from October 3 - 5, 2006. The organizers of the X-Pubs conference, Mekon Inc., summarized the reactions of the delegates to their conference, and have invited Emma to speak again at next year’s conference on a similar topic. At the DocTrain ‘06 Conference, the response from the 75+ delegates in the room was again very positive; evidently many companies are struggling to manage the change, particularly on the people side of the implementation.
